French Connection - Fresh Look

I have always liked French Connection, however I think they had lost their way, not really knowing who they were designing for but just adding more and more money onto their price tag!
With that said, I do think they have had a couple of strong seasons, with the help of the head designer coming from Victoria Beckham. Above is a few garments I love from their new collection. Must have item.....the leather solar pleated dress, I think i would wear this all winter!

Monochrome Slick

I wanted to do a post on some printed trousers, they are everywhere at the moment and I am very tempted. Remember the smaller the print the more flattering they will be if you have curvier, shorter legs and go for a big and bold print if you blessed with long legs! I have fallen for monochrome printed trousers by Second Female. This outfit would look amazing during the day without the jacket and you would be ready for the evening by resting this leather jacket just on your shoulders. Monochrome Sleekness.

Cruising Style

Even if you are not off on a cruise, i am loving this sophisticated look. Every holiday i pull out my trusty high waisted shorts. This year i am adding the perfect lime blouse from H&M Conscious collection and finishing off with beautiful tan leather accessories, the ultimate summer look. Simple and stylish that will work day or night.

Label Alert - Lavish Alice

I have been trying to put up images about this brand for a while but could not get any good photos, finally they have put up a website! With an edgy feel and some great prints Lavish Alice brings a bit of sports lux fashion this season. Hands down the white skirt is one of my favorites in the new arrivals along with the super cute zebra print shirt. I think this skirt would look amazing on holiday with a lime shirt and a very big statement necklace!
My only negative criticism is that they have put sale items on their 'just arrived' section. This just annoys me in general, i want to see new, not old stock that hasn't sold!

Washed Out

I have done a lot of neon's and I wanted to post this outfit concentrating on a nude pallet. As I have dark hair I have always been drawn to light colours are I feel it shows off my hair, as it's such a contrast. So here are a few beautiful finds that are available online now!
Tye-Dye is also huge this summer and to start off the look i found this fab maxi skirt in a grey and peach fade, i think with a tan this would look stunning. I have paired it with a loose cami as i don't like the elasticated finish on the skirt, i think this always looks better covered up! The bag, earrings and sandals are all from Aldo. The last Aldo shop i went to was in Vegas and I am so jealous I do not have one near to me back home. However thanks to the world wide web it can all be accessed at our finger tips!
What do all think, are we loving nudes or are we all about the bright colours?!

Make A Statement

New Outfit post and it is all about this amazing printed jacket by Just Female. The top two images popped up on my Facebook news feed from the Just Female page (LINK) and I couldn't help but have a look.
I think styling this jacket with the matching trousers looks unreal, absolutely love it, however i decided to do an outfit post on mixing up the print if you are not brave enough to wear it all together (like me.)
I have taken the jacket as i just think i would get more wear out of something like this and styled it with, yes, simple black skinny jeans. These ones are more high waisted and i think this would work better as i would tuck in the cute blue cami from Topshop in them. To finish i have added a pop of colour with this fabulous bag from Karen Millen and simple white heeled sandals from Aldo. I have also added a chunky beaded necklace to bring texture to the outfit. What do we all think, do you love this print as much as me?

Whats On Your Desk?

As well as new outfit posts i would like to start sharing with you some interior post of my little room. I have not shared much photography with you so this will hopefully give me a chance to do that!
So this is my first lifestyle post, lots more to come and i would love to hear some comments or even tips on where to get some great decorative pieces to fill up my room as well as clothes! Enjoy!

Aspiring Outfit - New Look

I have decided to add some make up and aspirational pieces to my outfit posts. I think these outfits will show more creativity and styling tips as in the perfect world this is what i would be wearing if i could afford it! There will still be high street finds like the H&M jacket in the top right as it's just beautiful but with the odd designer bag mixed into the look. What do you all think?

Poppy Lux

I have always been a fan of Sugarhill Boutique even before the TOWIE days, but this little new brand Poppy Lux is from the same brains behind Sugarhill, however i feel this is a more edgy brand unlike the cute animal prints and short dress of Sugarhill Boutique, Poppy Lux has studs, lace and attitude.
I do like the cool 'un-edited' feel to the lookbook and my favorite pieces from the collection are the Sofia Top and the Amber Skirt (seen styled together in the above image) At the moment Poppy Lux is offering 10% off for all new customers, so give it a go, i am!

Wish List This Week

My number one wish list this week is this fab blouse jacket by H&M, i adore the pattern and think this would look great with jeans and still thin enough to wear under a warmer jacket. I still want another pair of boyfriend jeans and this waterfall jacket by River Island. I seem to have three or four jackets with the contrast sleeve but they look so good on! Finishing off I am delighted to say the the neon stud bag from H&M is now in stock online again! This little beauty had sold out rather quickly but now i can safely say it's in my shopping bag and is the perfect summer bag. Here are my links :)

Shorten That Outfit

I am off on holiday in just over a month and I cannot stop holiday clothes shopping. I have brought together a few of my favorite shorts that have hit our high street so far. I think shorts are a must have when packing to go away, they don't take up much room, they are reasonably priced and can give you a different look so easily, so buy lots of them i say! From left to right....River Island Pacha Tribal Shorts worn with River Island Sandals. Second Female Inca Shorts worn with River Island black Sandals. Topshop Animal Runner Shorts worn with H&M Zebra Shoes

Let me know what you think, what are you all packing for your holidays??!

Handbag Love

So i have just had a beautiful Drift bag for Christmas and a stunning Zara evening bag but yet again i have fallen in love with the new Owen Barry bags. Made with fab animal prints and contrasting leather whats not to like?! I have gone for the stunning 'Iggy' style bag with lime green leather and the spotty black and white animal print as i feel it will be perfect for the summer holidays ahead! P.S It's my birthday today!

My Instagram For The Week

It's been a bank holiday weekend here in the UK and the sun was out! My weekend was full of cookies, coffee, early birthday shopping and cocktail making. I also brought myself an early birthday present (top left photo) the Urban Outfitters initial ring. I have wanted one for ages and could not find one anywhere.....then came across them on the urban outfitters website, perfect at only £8! I hope you all have a very happy Easter!

Interior Post - Rockett St George

This is a bit of a one off post, but i really wanted to share with you this little find. Like most of you my passion lies with fashion, but i do love interior design, however what ever i do i try and do on a budget. (I rather spend more money on clothes, truth be told!)

So these prints from Rockett St George are my first fabulous find at only £9.95! I thinking mixing media is stunning, so i really fell for these pieces of artwork over newspaper text. To finish them off they suggest framing them in these amazing retro metal frames. The rustic finish looks brilliant on a crisp simplistic interior and i think having a couple hung together would give a strong feature wall in any room!

There is so much more on their website, some of it is really expensive, but overall its very inspiring, well worth a look.

Birthday Weekend!

It's my birthday soon and i always like a new birthday outfit....who doesn't! When it's be birthday i also like to have a very girly outfit, not sure why but it's a time to be pampered and to treat yourself, so this is THE dress i want! The Topshop pearl shift dress is rather expensive, but i am thinking i could wear this to a wedding at a later date, and it's just so pretty! Ive added more glitz with this jeweled clutch bag from Accessorize and finished with a simple, on trend, ankle strap black sandal from Zara. Hope you are all having a lovely week, here are all the links!

Print Out!

So i am going mad over this print by Lashes Of London. The 'Lazarus' dress is my must have of the week with the added extra of that amazing neon yellow collar and cut out back detail! I want to be wearing this on my holiday with the bright zingy Ted Baker sandals mentioned earlier! (LINK)

Styling Crush Take Two

I have blogged about the amazing style diaries of Millie Mackintosh, but here i am again having fashion envy. I love her outfits and mix of high street meets designer, its just so effortlessly cool. Take a look for yourself, what do all think? LINK

Perfect Styling

I just had to add this little outfit by Zara. I just love everything about it, the Zebra print to the shock of orange, i just want it all!

Outfit Of The Week - Printed Trousers

Sorry this post is a little late but i have been very pleased with the new arrivals on Second Female and Just Female websites. If you have read more of my blog you will know i am a massive fan (LINK)
This outfit is building on these fab printed trousers, i have always been a bit scared of the thought of wearing them, however teamed up with a simple high low hem basic and this stunning dip dye cardigan i feel it tones the pattern down but still makes it the main focus. The accessories have been simple, black little pumps and a sleek stylish Zara white bag. I had to add in this cute little bracelet by Orelia, i have had a few of their bracelets now and love them, sometimes it's nice to go a bit dainty!
Happy Wednesday! Let me know your thoughts!

Holiday Wish List - Ted Baker

My holiday shopping is starting with Ted Baker, i fell in love with their lookbook mentioned earlier in my blog and their prints and colours do not disappoint. The shoes and the super cute shorts are my holiday must haves so far but the maxi would be beautiful for a summer wedding, any accuse, i just want it all!

Outfit Of The Day

This whole outfit is based around the cute leopard print suntop. Ive added this bright blue blazer which is a staple colour to be wearing this season and mixed it up with a bright red bag from River Island. I have kept the trousers simple in black so the focus is on the top, but you have to click on these ankle boots from Aldo, they are fab and come in black to!

Olive - Dress Of The Week

This is my must have this week, i think it is perfect for this time of year and can be dressed up or down. I prefer the white background version (top right) but this is not avaliable online yet, however i think the black dress would be more wearable for now. Again i would be wearing this with my must have spring jacket from Miss Guided (LINK). The model has been styled with the lovely River Island wedges, which i think finish the outfit off.....want it all!

Staple The Label

Another Australian brand with a simple ethos of "creating something sophisticated and chic, timeless and directional." As you may know if you have read more of my blog i love simplistic fashion with edgy finishes, whether that is with unusual prints or unique cuts and i love this label due to its take on 'basics with a twist.' Yet again Staple The Label has a beautiful amount of stunning prints which as i have said before we never seem to get here in the UK!

Have a look for yourself, remember this is their Autumn/Winter collection. LINK
