Weekend Travelling Outfit

So this weekend I am travelling to Cardiff to meet up with old university friends, this outfit came together as I wanted something comfortable yet stylish. I am a big sucker for oversized jumpers and t-shirts but this 'Just' logo jumper from Just Female really caught my eye with its brilliant colour and simple text. I am also a big sucker for oversized bags, but this weekend travel bag is a perfect size and looks great to! What are everyone's plans this weekend...maybe shopping??! Here are my styling links, enjoy!

One To Watch

& Other Stories is H&M's sophisticated older sister hitting the high street in March! I am a huge fan of the Swedish retail giant that is H&M and i am even more excited about the prospect of the collections that we will see from & Other Stories. With prices expecting to be in between Zara and Reiss their garments and collections ignore fast fashion trends and concentrate on providing pieces that will work from year to year. I am all about timelessness garments and i have feeling when we can finally shop in & Other Stories it will be well worth the investment!

Wear It Now - The Midi Skirt

It still is very chilly outside so layer up for now, start with this fabulous tribal print skirt which hints a bit of summer without getting too cold! Add a spot of colour with this jumper from H&M which also comes in neon pink and yellow. Then stay sophisticated with a structured bag, black ankle boots and a boyfriend blazer. Perfect for now.....replace the jumper with a crop top, sandals and then your ready for some sunshine!

Must Have Of The Week

Each week i am going to add a must have section, to start us off I'd like you to take note of this beauty! The Gabbi Clutch bag is by Selected Femme and is 100% leather, this will only look even better with age and is a style that can be worn day or night. I will be adding this bag to finish off some cute spring style features.....keep tuned!

If you love it, buy it here now....LINK :)

Bill And Mar

Have just come across this little gem, tad on the expensive side with most garments retailing at over £100 but the prints are just beautiful. Designer Rosie Bonnar was inspired when living in Sydney for a year, i think you can really see that as before reading about Bill And Mar i assumed it was an Australian brand purely from the look and feel of the designs.

All images from their website www.billandmar.com go take a look, you can buy through their website, enjoy!

August Street

So here is another Australian brand i have found and become quite fond of. August Street has beautiful loud prints and sharp tailoring, however is it wired to say that this is from their Autumn / Winter 2013 collection. I so wish we had more Australian brands here in the UK but i guess as our seasons are different (in a different order) it would never truly match our fashion cycle.

Anyway have a look for yourself or check out this fab online Australian boutique which has a brilliant selection of some amazing brands over there....including the lovely Finders Keepers!

Power Shirts

Highlight of Pure London Show was coming across Goldie London. Their A/W 2013 collection is so strong but do not fear, their new spring summer drop is knock out! The prints are stunning for this season and the Ava power shirts are on my shopping list, at just £45 it would be rude not to, get yours now! LINK

Wishing for some sun

I love seeing all the new collections hit the shops and although i know you cannot wear this just yet i thought it would help spur some inspiration. Still addicted to adding a bit of neon and i think this Mango paisley print T-shirt with the neon pink trim on the collar is perfect. I have carried on with adding length to the accessories with the fringe clutch bag which complements the long maxi skirt.

The must have of the outfit has to be the Black studded sandals which i have used with a couple of outfits now, they are just ideal to add an edgy finish for a summer look.

My Weekend According To Instagram

Numph A/W 2013

Numph is a new label we have introduced into the independent fashion boutique that im currently working in. At first i was not too sure, some garments are not my cup of tea and some prints are rather weird, however they are different and a really good selection from Numph can be beautiful.

I have tried to find a good website that stocks Numph but there does not seem to be a lot! I will keep you posted if any come up...what do think?

Here is a link to their homepage though :) LINK

Pure London

Keep posted, i am off to Pure London this weekend to hopefully get some inspiration and find some new brands! I will be going for work but the first ever time i went to Pure was when i was a student. If you are a fashion student i highly recommend going, it gives you an insight into the retail buying industry. However word of warning some brands will not let you onto their stands knowing you are a student, as they want to be serving potential clients rather than a poor old student, but do not be deterred there are fashion shows hourly, amazing talks by some of the best fashion professionals and lots of freebies! Watch this space.....!

White On White - Mango Style

Have just been having a browse at Mango and decided to use some of their garments to create a more purse friendly 'white on white' outfit. I have not looked at Mango online for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Their new collection reminds me more of Zara, with clean, slick cuts, bold colours and a sophisticated finish. This outfit is all about the layers and using your imagination to picture sandy beaches, sun and expensive yachts in a harbor.....we can dream!

White On White

Reiss Spring Summer lookbook does not disappoint. I am a huge fan of this timeless British brand. Yes it is expensive but for the quality and the design it is actually really reasonable. Taken from their new lookbook i have picked out the 'white on white' pieces which as we know is a big trend for this season. I also picked these photographs as i love the styling and the whole art direction they have taken using one prop, the big hedge! Simple yet so effective, have a look at the whole collection.

Easy Sunday

Just came across this and it made me smile, fun, sweet and lighthearted, perfect for a Sunday.

High Waisted

High waisted jeans are back and i am in love with the 'Molly' River Island version. They have a little bit of stretch but not too much and come in short, regular and long leg lengths. They are super soft and light so you feel you have nothing on! The best way to show off your high waisted look is of course to tuck in! I have gone for this black and white animal print shirt by H&M but i am also loving the poka dot blouses popping up on the high street (Zara do a lovely version.)

To finish off i have gone with the mini black tote bag by Zara and these amazing Kurt Geiger wedges, very high but beautiful! The jacket is also H&M and have used this as i feel khaki green goes really well with the blood red colour of the jeans. Try it yourself! All links below
