Ideas For Valentines

 It's nearly the end of January and i am already thinking of Valentines, whether you are with someone or not here is some gorgeous jewellery by Gorjana & Griffin. I love all the leather double band bracelets and the cute stackable rings. I would be chuffed if i got any of these as a present, or i might just buy them for myself anyway!

I must admit i am a bit of a Made in Chelsea fan, but i love Millie Mackintosh new style diary. She has a perfect mix of designer and high street (mainly Zara, but there is no surprise there as it is so good!) Here are a few of my favorite pics from here website, take a look for yourself! LINK

The Ankle Strap

Finally these amazing shoes are available on the asos website!! I saw these in this months Company magazine front cover, but today you can actually buy them! They are a steal at £45! The ankle strap is bang on trend and the added metal bar at the top makes them even more stylish. All you have to do now is to decide which colour?

Just Female

Ok, so if you have just been having a nose on the Second Female website (great if you have!) you might have just noticed the Just Female page as well. This is another brand i cannot get enough of, it reminds me of Zara which i think is the best shopping destination on the high street! However you can get hold of Just Female in the Oxford Street Topshop store, so if you are there please take a look at their new collection. Favorite pick from the collection so far has to be the stunning Dale Kimono...here is the LINK....enjoy!

Dip Dye

 

 Earlier this month i spoke about Second Female, well finally a few new arrivals have appeared on their website. The dip dye trend is going to be seen all through this spring/summer 2013 so get investing in some beautiful pieces now! I am in love with these two from Second Female, a tad on the expensive side, (Yoo Dip Dye Dress retailing at £96 - first image) but well worth it as i think this look could be worn in many different ways. Keep tuned for a styling post on the Dip Dye trend!

The Midi Dress

The midi dress, a must have in any girls wardrobe. Today i have chosen the dark blue Topshop bodycon midi dress which i have styled in two ways: 

The evening look on the left comprises of adding a statement gold necklace and high black wedges. This will instantly look edgy finishing off with a gold studded clutch bag. The midi dress is ideal for this time of year as it means you don't have to wear tights on a night out, but it also means you do not have to freeze having you legs completely out! 

The day time look on the right is all about the layers, adding a chunky oversized jumper, scarf and short ankle boots will give you a simple yet stylish daytime look. You could also add a military jacket or faux fur coat to give you a bit more warmth! 

This Topshop bodycon midi dress is in all different colours and bold prints if you're feeling adventurous!

Never Fully Dressed

I came across this gem on asos marketplace, a site that i am still not sure if i love or hate due to the miss mash of photography, but having the benefits of finding independents such as this one. Never Fully Dressed is a brand that prides itself on being a 'fashion brand that's not really into fashion.' But to provide clothing with clean lines, on-trend pallets, flattering silhouettes and casual femininity this brand has created a line that can be worn however the individual sees fit. 

Must have from this collection so far is the lattice shirt in white, take a look at their website on the link below or through the asos marketplace, you might find another gem on there!

Monki Business

I love this kaleidoscope pattern blouse by Monki. Ive added Topshop Joni high waisted black jeans and finished with bright accessories. A perfect outfit for a dinner date or drinks with the girls. Monki is a great brand for finding some unusual cuts on blouses and tops with dip hems and cut out details.

Pop Up

Pop up shops, i love the concept and think they are such a good promotional idea for any brand. This pop up shop by Sita Murt is stylish and modern and feel the identity is so strong and clear that this look can be translated into any environment. I also had to put in the promotional flyers and bags because for me they finish off the whole look!

Nasty Gal

Had to put this up quickly, just was looking through Nasty Gal lookbook for January and am in love with the styling and setting, just beautiful. Will do another entry on more of their collections and brands....enjoy!

Saturday Styling

Transitional pieces are key for this time of year, so i found some great buys from Vila. Vila is under the Bestseller company which also own brands such as Vero Moda, Pieces and Selected.

Their price points are brilliant and the quality is also there which is sometime compromised when a retail price is so reasonable. 

Ive mixed the soft grey tunic with a chunky cream knit and added River Island boots and bag to finish the look. Here are all the links....it's well worth a click!

City Slick

 

New obsession has to be the boyfriend fit jeans. Loving them paired with a chunky knit, fitted blazer and adding some neon. Neon is huge for spring/summer 2013 and i am trying to add it slowly into my wardrobe now, the best way has to be in accessories. With this outfit i have added a neon print Topshop scarf, but a bold neon necklace would work as well. To finish the look ive added the stunning red suede city bag by Zara. You can also get this bag in black, which i have, but i think the red finishes this outfit off!

To take your mind off the snow

It may be snowing in the UK but im thinking of holiday, sun, sea and shopping! Sabo Skirt has a lot of ultra girly dresses and playsuits as well as accessories and even iphone cases in some of their amazing prints. I think this is a one stop holiday shop and luckily they do ship internationally!
