Interior Post - Rockett St George

This is a bit of a one off post, but i really wanted to share with you this little find. Like most of you my passion lies with fashion, but i do love interior design, however what ever i do i try and do on a budget. (I rather spend more money on clothes, truth be told!)

So these prints from Rockett St George are my first fabulous find at only £9.95! I thinking mixing media is stunning, so i really fell for these pieces of artwork over newspaper text. To finish them off they suggest framing them in these amazing retro metal frames. The rustic finish looks brilliant on a crisp simplistic interior and i think having a couple hung together would give a strong feature wall in any room!

There is so much more on their website, some of it is really expensive, but overall its very inspiring, well worth a look.

Birthday Weekend!

It's my birthday soon and i always like a new birthday outfit....who doesn't! When it's be birthday i also like to have a very girly outfit, not sure why but it's a time to be pampered and to treat yourself, so this is THE dress i want! The Topshop pearl shift dress is rather expensive, but i am thinking i could wear this to a wedding at a later date, and it's just so pretty! Ive added more glitz with this jeweled clutch bag from Accessorize and finished with a simple, on trend, ankle strap black sandal from Zara. Hope you are all having a lovely week, here are all the links!

Print Out!

So i am going mad over this print by Lashes Of London. The 'Lazarus' dress is my must have of the week with the added extra of that amazing neon yellow collar and cut out back detail! I want to be wearing this on my holiday with the bright zingy Ted Baker sandals mentioned earlier! (LINK)

I have blogged about the amazing style diaries of Millie Mackintosh, but here i am again having fashion envy. I love her outfits and mix of high street meets designer, its just so effortlessly cool. Take a look for yourself, what do all think? LINK

Outfit Of The Week - Printed Trousers

Sorry this post is a little late but i have been very pleased with the new arrivals on Second Female and Just Female websites. If you have read more of my blog you will know i am a massive fan (LINK)
This outfit is building on these fab printed trousers, i have always been a bit scared of the thought of wearing them, however teamed up with a simple high low hem basic and this stunning dip dye cardigan i feel it tones the pattern down but still makes it the main focus. The accessories have been simple, black little pumps and a sleek stylish Zara white bag. I had to add in this cute little bracelet by Orelia, i have had a few of their bracelets now and love them, sometimes it's nice to go a bit dainty!
Happy Wednesday! Let me know your thoughts!

Holiday Wish List - Ted Baker

My holiday shopping is starting with Ted Baker, i fell in love with their lookbook mentioned earlier in my blog and their prints and colours do not disappoint. The shoes and the super cute shorts are my holiday must haves so far but the maxi would be beautiful for a summer wedding, any accuse, i just want it all!

Outfit Of The Day

This whole outfit is based around the cute leopard print suntop. Ive added this bright blue blazer which is a staple colour to be wearing this season and mixed it up with a bright red bag from River Island. I have kept the trousers simple in black so the focus is on the top, but you have to click on these ankle boots from Aldo, they are fab and come in black to!

Olive - Dress Of The Week

This is my must have this week, i think it is perfect for this time of year and can be dressed up or down. I prefer the white background version (top right) but this is not avaliable online yet, however i think the black dress would be more wearable for now. Again i would be wearing this with my must have spring jacket from Miss Guided (LINK). The model has been styled with the lovely River Island wedges, which i think finish the outfit off.....want it all!

Staple The Label

Another Australian brand with a simple ethos of "creating something sophisticated and chic, timeless and directional." As you may know if you have read more of my blog i love simplistic fashion with edgy finishes, whether that is with unusual prints or unique cuts and i love this label due to its take on 'basics with a twist.' Yet again Staple The Label has a beautiful amount of stunning prints which as i have said before we never seem to get here in the UK!

Have a look for yourself, remember this is their Autumn/Winter collection. LINK

Outfit Tonight

Tonight I'm off for drinks for a friends birthday, i always find it hard to go smart/casual. I find i either go too dressy or end up too casual but with this outfit i think it has a perfect balance.
I have found this fabulous jacket online at River Island, paired with leather effect jeans and a plain white peplum top. The main aspect of this outfit is the accessories. The studded clutch bag, matches my must have shoes from last week (LINK) and the shoes are simple with a classic kitten heel, finished off with a statement necklace. I love this outfit because all these items you can wear again to make a completely different look, i think i will be doing another outfit post on this jacket! Love it.

Hope you have all had a lovely Saturday, here are my links, enjoy!

& Other Stories Now Open

So the wait is over, & Other Stories is now open online! I have spent most of this morning going over the site and i am not disappointed. They really have captured a collection of timeless pieces that really will look stylish in years to come. I am also in love with the layout of the website and the way the garments have been displayed, some on models, some on hangers and some on mannequins. It has a very edgy, sophisticated feel to it which represents the whole ethos of the brand. Here are a few of my favorite pieces now available.....check them out here :) LINK

Pop Of Colour & Prints

This outfit is so simple but looks great for everyday wear. Ive used turned up boyfriend jeans from River Island and teamed it up with a seam detail top from Topshop (loving this khaki green at the moment). I adore these bright orange strap sandals which look perfect with the turn up jean, we have seen it on so many bloggers and stylist at London Fashion Week, i think its a brilliant look. To finish I've added a black and white animal print bag from ASOS, there is also a clutch bag version which would also look great. I have kept the jewellery to a minimal and have used a thin gold chain necklace, however i think i would add a couple more longer thin gold chains to add just a little more detail. What do think? Here are all the links :)

Twisted Muse

We all need great basics in our wardrobe, it is what we can build on to make a great outfit. You might think well a t-shirt is just a t-shirt, but your wrong, basics have really stepped up. With unusual cuts, dipped hems, twisted backs and a mixture of fabric, your basics can be the center stage of your outfit!

This is why i am showing you a small snippet of Twisted Muse collection, a British brand designed by Jules Copsey, it offers a perfect selection of tees that can be worn in so many different ways. For example i am in love with the 'Flo' draped grey marl tee over this leather pencil skirt. I might even have to do an outfit post on this!

Have a look for yourself, sometimes i think the best outfits can be a pair of skinny jeans with an oversized draped white tee, statement jewellery and a statement bag. Enjoy!

p.s who else loves their name?? Twisted muse, brilliant!

Must Have Of The Week - Shoe Envy

You might of guessed, but this is my must have of the week. These sandals are stunning, perfect for an outfit like i have styled below or take them into summer to complement any outfit in the sun.
I love the monochrome detail all over the shoe and the edgy stud finish, in one word they are FIERCE.

Monday Meeting

I hate to say it but it's Monday tomorrow, however I'm thinking of starting the day with a new look. I have fallen in love with these stunning Zara studded sandals which have a practical heel height for all that walking around (for work, or lets be honest, for shopping.) I have added the lovely Gabbi clutch which was my must have last week, it is a perfect size for all those A4 worksheets and notes. The rest of the outfit is simple with an oversized cardigan, sophisticated white blouse and finishing off with a twist on your standard black trousers, instead i have opted for a leather look jean. Let me know what you think! Happy Sunday!

Perfect Spring Coat

So I don't know about you guys but I'm finding it still rather cold out there. This weekend i brought this little beauty which will hopefully see me through until the sun finally comes out and stays out! This simple black jacket has quilted faux leather contrast sleeves which are still so on trend and brings an edgy finish to any outfit. This jacket also is very similar to the beautiful Zara one, but at half the price. Do not get me wrong i think a good quality coat is worth the money but as we are heading into spring summer i do not want to spend a fortune on a coat that i hopefully wont be wearing that much longer. (praying we get a summer this year!)

Check it out ladies, it also come in a cream colour with black quilted sleeves. LINK
